WHAT TO BRING:
Please prepare two sets of strips - each 18"-24" long. Choose any colors for each set. If you want to use your strip towards the group quilt - the color way is red, white and blue. We can also trade our strips with each other to make different combinations!
Set 1 - sew together
- 2" strip color A
- 2" strip color B
- 2" strip color C
Set 2 - sew together
- 2" strip color A
- 1" strip color B
- 1" strip color C
- 2" strip color A
We will cut these strips in various ways and construct the Seminole patterns in our session. You'll get to see the different variations that can be achieved.
Please bring your strips, scissors, rotary cutter, quilting rulers. A few of us can bring machines and irons. Needles and thread for basting in case we run out of time at the machines.
We will have samples of blocks and quilts using this technique, feel free to bring your own to share.
Call or email Camille or Cheryl with any questions.
