"Another great weekend bursting with creativity and had us bursting out of our seams too. Threads of Time was chock full of ladies from five different guilds, all with the dogged intention to quilt until they dropped. We worked on UFOs (that's UnFinished Objects!), new creations, quilt challenges, red & white blocks and...we ate and ate. We had first breakfast, second breakfast (my fault), lunch, mid-afternoon snack, dinner (3-courses) and late night snack. Wow, quilting really makes you hungry!
Some were even lucky enough to give new machines their first test run. Michele had her surprise Christmas present, a Bernina from her Hubby. And Paula - what can I say? She has a nuclear powered embroidery machine that had control panel that would rival a F-16 fighter jet. She finished some impressive projects. I think it quilted while she slept.
I want to welcome first timers - Deborah and Evelyn. I think both have the Danville bug and will be back for our next Guild retreat in June."
And a PS from the Social Media Director, Andrea -- if you have photos from the retreat, please let me know. I will add them to the retreat album under the Gallery tab above.
