Lakeside Quilting Guild members gathered on June 14 to hear a presentation by guild member and artist Dorothy Burge who specializes in African- and social justice-themed quilt pieces. Dorothy presented a slide show of some of her work, as well as providing several other pieces for display. She also had a selection of her collection of authentic African textiles.
